We’re Live

The countdown to the season is underway, and the lads are putting in some hard yards trimming down their bellies for the first match-up of the year. I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m sure it’s the case; I myself have been out for the last 6 months with a pulled hammy… it tastes incredible.

Some good news today as we can now see our team up in lights on the official league table, and we’re already comfortably in the top three on alphabetical order. It’s great to see a couple of potential rivals emerge already. The media-savvy Chiswick Celtic are our local competition, a cosy suburban battleground that inspires images of Roma v Lazio, Celtic v Rangers, even Besiktas v Galatasaray (noise levels notwithstanding). Elsewhere, the like-minded Inter SFC form our branding opposition. I can’t think of a Milan pun, but there can only be one and we’ll crank up the AC and make sure to leave them black and blue. Wait, that’s not right…
